West Yellowstone Resort Community

West Yellowstone has existed as an iconic gateway to Yellowstone National Park since the early 1900s. A small community in southern Montana, just minutes from the Park, swells with visitors in the millions each year. Like many resort communities, the collection of resort tax has allowed West Yellowstone to dramatically reduce their mill levy while also recouping the financial strain placed on the town by tourism.
